Registration for the Boonsboro AYSO Recreational Spring 2025 Season
**Important change for the Spring 2025 season: due to the lower number of teams available to play in the 11U age group, 11U players will now be playing under the URSL league. There is an overlap due to how URSL does their age groups for 3rd graders with January-August birthdays. These players will have the option to play on our 9U BAYSO recreational teams or on one of the 3rd/4th grade URSL teams.
Academies will play/practice on Saturday mornings starting March 29th, 2025
Academies age groups:
- Playground (2021 birth year; must be 3 years of age at start of season), Schoolyard (2020 birth year) & 6U (2019 birth year)
7U-9U recreation league age groups will have a mandatory practice the first week of the season, March 10-14th from 6:00p-7:30p to evaluate players to make teams as even as possible. Players need to attend ONE evening practice on one of the following dates:
Tuesday 3/11: 6:00p-7:30p 7U & 9U
Wednesday 3/12: 6:00p-7:30p 7U & 9U
Makeup day for any weather related cancellations: Thursday 3/13 6:00p-7:30p 7U & 9U
7U & 9U : practice once/week
*All teams Academies-9U are COED teams

Important Dates:
Evaluation week to balance teams for 9U & 7U: March 11th and 12th (13th is weather related make up day)
First week of practice with assigned teams: March 17th-20th
WCPS Spring Break 4/18-21: No BAYSO games
Memorial Weekend 5/24-26: No BAYSO games
Last day of games: May 31st
9U end of season tournament will be scheduled for either 5/31 or 6/7. Final date and schedule TBD
How to register and payment info:
Beginning with Fall 2017, BAYSO will be utilizing an online registration system. This system will process online payments only via the following payment methods: Credit Card, Debit Card, or Pre-Paid Credit Card. If you do not have a credit or debit card, we recommend purchasing a pre-paid credit card. The pre-paid credit card will allow you to pay the required registration fees. As of August 10th, 2024 all late registrants will be placed on the waiting list and special requests may not be accommodated. There also be an additional $15 Late Fee. Wait list is on a first come first serve basis. Your spot is not guaranteed. If you are accepted from the wait list, you will be notified via email.
The Registration Fee includes the AYSO Membership Fee (formerly known as the National Player Fee) and is non-refundable and non-transferable member fee to participate in AYSO. Membership in AYSO is required for each member before a member may participate in any AYSO program or event. This fee entitles the member to all benefits for that membership year, including: The fee is $20 per calendar year

AYSO Age Determination
BAYSO will be changing from a school year registration to a birth year registration in order to align with other American youth soccer program providers interpretation of the U.S. Soccer Player Development Initiatives.
The effective date of age determination for registration shall be the player's age as of December 31 looking ahead of the Membership Year.
