BAYSO will be collecting checks from all soccer families for $50 per player ($100 max) to either cash for immediate use, or you may volunteer 2 hours per child (up to 4 hours) and your check will be returned to you after your volunteer commitment has been completed. Please meet at Jersey Pick up to turn in your check. Coaches/Assistant Coaches do not need to fill out a form or turn in a check. Once volunteer hours have been completed, we can either shred your check or retrieve it at the end of the season.

Lining Rohrersville Fields Spring 2025
Areas we need volunteers:
Referees: We always have a shortage of referees so any help is appreciated. We can help get you trained and we also have a junior referee program who would ref our 9U games.
Mowing: weekly volunteer opportunity at Rohrersville fields. Needs to be done on Thursdays so we can stripe the fields on Fridays. The first mow will not start till after Easter. We have our own mower to use.
Striping fields: weekly volunteer opportunity. Needs to be completed on Fridays. All paint and striping carts are stored at the field.
Concessions: This is a big fundraiser to help offset costs for the club. Volunteers sign up for 2 hour time slots and help sell food and drinks at the concessions stand at the Rohrersville fields.
Academy Coaches: if your child is on an academy team (playground, schoolyard, 6U) feel free to get out on the field and help!
Morning Field prep: set up fields at 8:30 am prior to the first academy session and 7U/9U games which start at 9 am. For academy fields this would be placing pug goals out, getting cones, flags and pinnies which are all located in our equipment shed connected to the pavilion. For 7U and 9U this would be putting out the flags on the corner of our 3 large fields.
Team parents: ask your coach if anyone has offered to be a team parent. Some coaches work independently but others like to have the extra help. Usually this entails getting a sign up started for game day snacks.
Age group coordinators: This would be for the future seasons but volunteers would help with getting the season started by helping to organize teams, get parent volunteers for snacks, for 9U coordinate with HAYSL and make game schedules, being the point person of all the coaches in that age group and assisting with running the end of the season tournament for 9U.
Skills and drills coaches for the 7U/9U age group and or coaching a goalie clinic: this would take place on Tuesdays if there is enough interest
End of season party planners: volunteers would plan the celebration and put together sign ups for food, drinks, special activities and trophy distribution at our last regular season games on 5/31.
